Incredible - World is indeed small !!!!

Its a small small world - a number of ppl have said it, there has been songs on it but I trust it now. Now, why do you I say that I believe in it - 'cos the most unbelievable incident happened today. Seems like, from the day I started writing blogs, a lot of incidents are happening in my life or there were always incidents and I have started realising as I recollect it while writing it down.

Now to the incident - I come back from a meeting and I have an RM (Reuters Messaging - similar to gtalk where you get to interact with your colleagues) from A******* . To me that was a surprise, 'cos although that person was from my department I never ever spoke to her. Then I thought it should be something to do with officially and replied. To my surprise her immediate question was "Do you know R****** from Mumbai", I was shocked - my immediate question was officially or personally (dumb question I must say but wanted to make sure) - she replied - it was personally. I was taken a back - cos I knew the person and she was very very close to me (still is - but just dont get to talk much now a days as she has moved to Mumbai). To add to the surprise, R***** was right there sitting next to A******* - later I came to know that R****** cousin is married to A*******.

It was a moment to cherish when I chatted with R******, its just that its been quite sometime and to talk to her on RM of all modes of communication was super cool. Its definitely a day to remember, a day when I can tell others - Its a small small world!!!!

Disappointing weekend

Till this minute it has been a pretty disappointing weekend for me - to start off I had been to dasavatharam yesterday. With expectations running high, I was really looking forward to this so called magnum opus. At the end of the movie I must say I was a touch disappointed. The movie is definitely not bad, it is worth watching but it wasn't satisfactory for the hype that was created. I would give 3 stars for it simply for kamal's different body language, the effort behind the characters, dialogue delivery. The movie kicks off with amazing camera work and 12th century scenes was mind blowing. However, the story (as a one liner I thought it was a fabulous concept) lacked substance to it. The story could have been taken with 6 characters utmost. I wasn't really convinced with the 7ft / 8ft tall character, Japanese character, dark guy and bush.

I came back home to watch the finals of the tri-nation series and to add to my despair Pakistan beat India in the final. It was definitely heart breaking but come to think of it, it now seems like a habit for India - do well till the finals and come to lose it in the end. I must also say that I wasn't keenly following it purely cos Sachin wasn't a part of the series and 50 over game has indeed become boring to watch after the 20-20 IPL extravaganza.

Sunday today and I need to start packing my bags in less than 10 hours to get back to bore b'lore :-( I really cannot wait for the day to come when I get back to Chennai permanently.

So...

So ... here I am .. writing my 1st blog ... I always thought blogs was a very stupid concept until I started reading a few. It was last week when I read couple of my friends (Anand and Sathya Praveen) blog that changed my idea. The blogs written by them fascinated me and made me to create one for myself. I wonder why but I guess there are some things in this world which just happens and for reasons unknown.

I hope I continue to write a few and 'am happy that I started with one ..
